Purchasing Supervisor

Opis stanowiska:

# Purchasing – Ensure qualified suppliers are selected to provide supplies and services required to optimize the results of key capital projects, supply chain optimization and strong financial results.
# Supply Chain/Planning – Ensure a steady and consistent flow of raw materials and finished goods in support of the customers’ requirements. Using ERP, KanBan and other LEAN/Six Sigma tools, ensure working capital is well managed while providing excellent customer supply. Oversee the supervision of the warehouse activities to ensure FIFO and other strong inventory management practices are followed.
# Control – Utilize Polish/EU processes and procedures to ensure strong financial control and security. Ensure all required regulatory standards and reporting requirements are met.
# Quality – Evaluate and counsel suppliers in their ability to meet quality standards. Identify and eliminate problems before and as they occur using the corporate values of Lean, Six Sigma, Fairness, Customer Concern and Rapid Response.
# Environment, Health and Safety – Ensure a safe, healthy and environmentally sound workplace which promotes the continued well-being of employees, equipment, facility and community.
# Supervision – Ensure the local warehousing operations are well supervised and productive. Use Teambuilding, Training, KPI’s, Communication and Problem Solving strategies to ensure a responsible, safe and efficient warehousing organization.
# Corporate Oversight – Report indirectly to the corporate Supply Chain and Purchasing functions for overall strategy and guidance. Ensure timely utilization of corporate standards and practices, and reporting of local results.
# Strategy – Participate with the local leadership in planning and implementing strategic initiatives to ensure long-term viability of the local and regional corporate entities.
# reporting to European Operations Manager.

Wymagania:

# Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), Supply Chain or Logistics,
# 7 years’ experience in purchasing related position within a Polish manufacturing operation,
# knowledge in the following areas: Auto OEM manufacturing or Aftermarket operations proficiency in all local and regional statutory policies related to conducting business transactions and contracts Microsoft Office proficiency and experience with ERP systems,
# ability to communicate fluently both written and spoken in English,
# ability to handle multiple projects at multi stages,
# strong supervisory experience,
# assertivness and strong negotiating skills,
# results oriented team player with a positive attitude,
# excellent interpersonal skills,
# ability to work well under pressure,
# strong work ethic,
# understanding time management and meeting deadlines,
# strong problem solving,
# ability to travel abroad for training and other business purposes.
